Truly enormous scale chain link Victorian Whitby jet bracelet with original padlock c.1870.
A rare survivor in immaculate condition.
The padlock is carved but still retains a glossy finish as does the chain.The fitting to the padlock is base metal.
Incredible to think such a bold modern design would have been fashionable over 150 years ago.
Chain length 8.5 inches.,padlock is 1 inch by 1.25 inches.
