Superior quality Victorian 18ct gold and rock crystal carved heart locket pendant dated 1897 and 1898.
Dedications are inscribed on the gold for Lessa 1897 and Gerald 1898 possibly the dates of birth  for two children, the heart likely being worn by the mother.
The interior of the two rock crystal cabochons encloses a glazed frame for a photograph.
The locket looks beautiful as is but can include any keepsake.The piece came to me with two tiny tied locks of hair(undoubtedly Lessa and Gerald)which I can include if desired.
