Trio of Regency fob seals in 15 carat gold c.1815.
All three have similar fluted bell-shaped openwork fob designs.
The largest set with an oval carnelian with an intaglio of a cornucopia and the motto ‘Le Bon Temps Viendra’ ‘The Good Times will Come’. 3cms by 2.5cms
The oblong carnelian is carved with an envelope and ‘Lisez et Croyez’ ‘Read and Believe’, a French love letter. 2.8 by 2cms.
The small oval set with a carnelian carved with a leaf and ‘Je Me Change Quen Mourant’ ‘I only change when I die’, an expression of unchangeable devotion. 2.5 by 1.8cms.
