Stuart crystal earrings of good size with pale rose pink foiling and central cypher of gold wire. English c.1720.

Formerly cufflinks,later converted with gold shepherd's hooks.

Foiled faceted rock crystal jewellery of this kind was popular from the late c17th century but continued through the first half of the c18th.

Beautifully clean chunky early cut stones,undisturbed silver settings,some fading to the foil,but all original condition.

Stones are 1/2 inch square.
