Stomacher-type pendant of  bow and drop design set with foiled rock crystals. A model sometimes seen in chrysoberyl or topaz,the rock crystal stones here are typically calibré-cut to fit perfectly in the different shape silver settings which allow the jewel to have a characteristic sculptural quality. 4 inches long by 2 inches at the widest point of the bow. A good example from the golden age of Portuguese c18th jewellery.
