Sweet Georgian foiled pink topaz and  15 carat gold cannetille cross pendant c.1820.
The foiled stones the prettiest shade of rose pink.
Very fine condition. 
Evidence to reverse of old brooch fitting long since removed.
Cross 1 inch by 1 inch.
Cannetille was popular in England from 1815 to 1840. This delicate three dimensional form of filigree work incorporating whirls, coils, scrolls, domes, rosettes, beehives and granulation, was extremely labour intensive and is most often found  set with topaz or chrysoberyl.
