Truly unique early Victorian high carat gold mourning ring with an elaborately scrolled ribbon-like enamelled shank dedicated to Mrs.Caroline Mercy Ann Evans Paton who died 30th January 1838.
Inscribed to the interior and enamelled In Memory Of to exterior.The bezel itself is a bizarre cartouche shape set with a banded agate.
Excellent condition, enamel near mint.
