The borders are carved with thistles shamrocks and roses.

Size 10.Possibly made for the Earl himself. 9.4 grams.

Born Margaret Nash, daughter of Reverend Treadway Russell Nash,Clergyman,historian and antiquary She married John Somers the 1st Earl Somers Cocks on 19th March 1785 in Bevere,Worcester and bore three sons and one daughter.They lived in the Gothic pile of Eastnor Castle, architect Robert Smirke with interiors by A.W.N. Pugin.Only 97 rooms!
