George I  rock crystal and  enamel high carat gold mourning ring for Lady Glenorchy 1727.  The beautifully refined band reads 'Lady A Glenorchy Ob. 2 Mar 1726/7 aet 29'. The central facetted foiled rock crystal lies over a tiny weave of hair and is set in the perfect reeded basket back. Size 5.5.
