Exquisite Georgian 15 carat gem-set and coral lacepin designed as a cornucopia with a spray of flowers  c.1830.
The coral cornucopia is finely writhen-carved, the central harlequin pansy is set with citrine and garnet,the forget-me-not with turquoise and garnet,the daisy with pearls and emerald.Tiny buds in garnet and emerald are also issuing from the coral horn of plenty.
Loaded with symbolism relating to love, with the central pansy for ‘I think of you’(pensée),the forget-me-not for remembrance,the daisy for innocence and loyalty, and the cornucopia for health,abundance and prosperity.
