Exceptional cut steel chandelier earrings with central grape drops c.1850.

All original connectors present, elegant girandole design  with a crescent in the top section.

3 inches length.

Excellent condition. Later shepherd hooks.

Important collections of cut steel jewellery are held by the Lady Lever Art Gallery, Birmingham Museums Trust, and Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen.

One of the few books devoted to the subject is the 1971 Cut Steel and Berlin Iron Jewellery by Anne Clifford.
