Beautiful classical carving on the dragon-like serpent’s head followed by  carved segments set on a flexible blue steel flattened wire so the bracelet can be worn loose on the wrist without any visible closure . The tail on this one is particularly charming.
As anyone will know who collects these they are notoriously fragile and I have never had one without the odd chip.But overall this example is very fine with all the segments intact.Also this one clings to the wrist well. 
Torre del Greco has been a major center for coral and cameo production since the 17th century, becoming one of the world's leading centers for these crafts.
