Georgian agate cameo depicting a Neoclassical lidded urn c.1780.
Bluish ground to the stone which was often used in these late c18th urn cameos.
Later mounted in the early c19th in an oval gold box-like bezel as a pin and now converted to a ring.
Mellow, slightly rosy coloured 9 ct gold.
