Makers Mark indistinct.

The inscription is in italics which replaced Roman Capitals in the second quarter of the c17th.

Posy(posey/poesy/posie)rings were popular during the 15th to 17th centuries in both England and France as lovers' gifts. The language used in many early posy rings was Norman French, with French, Latin and English used in the later period.
