The sepia cherub holds a banner for ‘amitie’ and appears to hover over a calm sea.The ‘sea’ is depicted as pale blond hair with gold initials TMS, likely the giver of the gift.
Seed pearl border. Tied lock of hair inset in glass locket to reverse.
Bright-cut detail to the gold reverse,all original fittings.
